Shoppers are rushing to Tesco to get their hands on discounted duvet sets in the store's mega sale, you’ll save so much

LET'S face it, there are few things better than slipping into a freshly changed bed after a long day at work.

However, there is one thing that could make it even more dreamy - a brand new duvet cover and pillowslips to sink right into...all at a hugely discounted price.

Well, if you're after new bedding, then you may just want to pop to your local Tesco because shoppers are raving about the bargain buys they've managed to nab in the supermarket's mega sale.

Taking to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, John Maronitis shared a snap of the 'Waffle seersucker duvet set' he speedily placed into his trolley.

But rather than paying out the £54 price tag, he managed to get his hands on it for the hugely discounted price of just £13.50 - meaning a whopping £40.50 saving.

And what's more is he got the £10 pillow cases to match - all for the reduced price of just £2.50.

Alongside the image, he penned: "Bedding reduced to clear at Tesco - duvet and pillowcases."

And John wasn't the only one to snap up a bargain...another delighted shopper hurried online to show off her discounted goods.

"Duvet sets, sheets and pillow cases in grey and white!" she penned.

"Massive bargain £13.50 instead of £54!! Wow!"

Elsewhere, Minara Khatun wrote: "West Park Hotel Luxury Duvet Set in Tesco Tottenham - Reduced to clear.

"Bought the last double priced at £12.50, worth having a look in your local one."

It wasn't long before the posts garnered several likes and comments between them, with many eager to get their hands on the cut-price duvet sets.

"I need this in my life," wrote one.

A second noted: "Bought one!"

A third commented: "Bought the double for my daughter this morning now thinking I might go back and look for a king size too."

And another added: "I bought the pillowcases in grey this evening.

"They feel lovely can’t wait to go to bed!"
